IV 2026 AEDEM Global Summit

Registration information

All authors of papers must be registered before January 20th to be included in the programme and proceedings of the Conference. To register for the 2026 AEDEM Global Summit to be held in Lisbon (Portugal), it is necessary to complete the following steps (you must first enter your username and password on the AEDEM website):


1. Complete the registration form (in Registration - Registration form).

2. Send the data provided in the form ("send data" button).

3. If you do not pay by POS, pay the registration fee into the Academy's account.

4. Once the registration has been completed, send an email with the receipt to administracion@redaedem.org 

Key dates

• 12^th January: Deadline for submission of papers.
• 21^st January: Notification of acceptance
• 25^th January: Deadline for registration of authors
• 22^nd, 23^rd, and 24^th February: 2026 AEDEM Global Summit

Conference Fees

In-person attendance:

• AEDEM Members, Members of Organizing Universities & Forthem Researchers: 260€
• Non AEDEM Members: 470€
• Companions: 210€
• Companions only closing dinner: 150€
• Authors Non-attendees: 90€

Non-attending authors must register and pay 90€. Papers by authors who do not register for the conference will not be included in the proceedings.

The full fee includes the welcome reception dinner on 22^nd February, the working lunches on 23^rd and 24^th February, the closing dinner with transfers and the conference organisation's expenses.

Submission rules 

Authors may choose one of the following publication options, in electronic format, for their work:

• AEDEM Abstracts: Only the summary of the works will be published in their corresponding book of abstracts.
• AEDEM Proceedings: Both the abstract and the completed paper will be published in the corresponding book of minutes.
• AEDEM Work in progress: Only the abstract of the work will be published in the corresponding book of abstracts.

All authors must be registered in the Conference before the deadline.

Failure to comply with these regulations implies the immediate elimination of work (on the Conference website, you will find all the necessary information for the registration and payment of the corresponding fees).

Papers must be submitted through the private zone, http://www.redaedem.org/areaprivada/. To do this, you must enter with username and password, access the Works area and enter the title of the work, the authors, the area of knowledge, the prize or prizes to which the work is a candidate, and the attached work following the format required.

It will be necessary to upload 3 documents to the web:

1. Manuscript (anonymous) with the complete article (*), omitting the authors' data and any other information that allows their identification. template manuscript.docx 
2. Manuscript complete with names. Using the same format as above.
   
3. Abstract, including only the summary of the work and keywords, as well as the identification data of the authors. template abstract.docx 
4. *Work in progress: In the case of work in progress, the following guidelines Guidelines for Works in Progress.pdf  and template, should be respected. template work in progress.docx

Accepted papers will be published in an online conference proceeding (Authors can publish the full paper or the abstract).

Paper format

• The writing of the text must be done and sent in Microsoft Word format.
• The works may not exceed 80,000 characters or 18 pages (including graphs, tables, and bibliographic references).
• They may be presented in Spanish, English or Portuguese.
• A4 written in simple and justified space.
• Margins: 2.5 centimetres upper and lower and 3 centimetres left and right (normal margin of Microsoft Word).
• Typeface: Garamond; body 12 for texts; body 14 and bold for job title; body 12 and bold for titles and headings; and body 8 for footnotes.
• The header is in capital letters and bold.
• There should be space after each heading.
• The thanks will appear at the end of the text before the bibliographical references.
• Bibliographical references will appear at the end of the text.
• It is recommended not to use footnotes.
• Tables and texts are in definitive formats and inserted in the text.

*Working papers can also be submitted. In this case, the authors must send the work in progress. However, in order to be eligible for the congress awards, it is mandatory to have a completed paper, therefore, works in progress are not eligible.

Authors will be invited to submit their papers to the following journals:
